Peach n Berry picking.

What a memorable Memorial Day! We took a drive to Fredericsburg to pick peaches and blackberries. The boys had so much fun.


We would be lying if we said we didn't sample the fruit!

Pool party!

I guess these pictures just slipped my mind. We got this pool on Mothers Day weekend. The boys love it. Its not like the one we got Britton for his b day last year (pictured below) but it is nice that we can all get in and play. The boys are so brave they just run and jump its nice not to have to hold them while they swim. They're getting soooo big!

At my work on the front porch there is a little nest right above the doorway. We took the boys to see the babies. There are about 5 little babies in this little nest. While we were there we got to see the mommy feed them. Ethan just ran around but Britton thought it was pretty cool

We have been busy!

When we moved here a year ago there was so much to be done. We are working so hard and it seemed like we weren't getting anywhere but one day we were looking at some of the old pictures and we couldn't even remember it being that bad. We are so proud of our work. I'm so happy that we could come here and help fix it up so they can enjoy their home and their land. There is still so much to do but we are getting there.

This was our first project we fixed up the yard right after we moved here. We wanted somewhere for the boys to play where they would be safe and could do kid stuff.
















We tilled the entire yard fixed the fence and put in grass.
























This rock porch was under the dirt. Eric's dad said it had been so long, he had forgotten all about it being there.

Hang in there!

Britton thinks it is so funny to grab onto the truck when Ethan is driving. Ethan loves to be the driver and doesn't mind being the passenger sometimes too, but Britton wants to drive or chase Ethan around he doesn't like to just sit. I only let him do this one time. It's hard on clothing you know and clothes aren't cheep.

How sad!

I was talking to my mom the other day and she told me that my old house was for sale. My sister went online and found a MLS# so I could see it. I was so sad. I couldn't stop crying. The people that bought it did a lot of work and made quite a few changes. They painted and put in wood floors and changed the trim. I miss my house, it looks so good I love what they have done with it. Take a look.

The cute little place where I work!

This is it, our little Post Office. There are only four employees. Me and three other ladies. We are so close and get along so well. We each work three days a week. I work two days and one half day on Saturday. It is perfect for me. I love having outside contact with other people and I also get to be home with the boys the majority of the time.

Spring Sing

The kindergarten class had a Spring Sing on Thursday May 1st. They set up a stage on the field and we all brought our lawn chairs to watch. The first song was about gardening and daffodils and how their work is never done. About half way through the song Britton sees us and notices Ethan sitting in HIS chair and drinking HIS lemon aid. It was so cute! I felt awful though, he looked like an outsider looking in. I took him to get another lemon aid after the program.
