I just don't get it???

Ok. How many people are going to look @ my dang blog and not notice my dang stick figure family?!?!?!?

Antics...

Quite a while ago (when E was still potty training) we were playing at a friends house when he had an "accident". I took him to the bathroom to clean him up, when I was done I told him to wait there till I got back from taking his dirty clothes out to the car and getting some clean ones out of my stash. When I returned he looked at me so excitedly and exclaimed "I brushed my teeth!" I have no idea who's toothbrush he used but I never said a word!

Man! They're so cute and innocent!

Last Day of Pre-School, and our First Rain-gutter Regatta...

Ethan got some new jammies from Oma and Opa when they went to Vegas and every morning he told me he wanted to wear them to school. I told him we could ask if they were going to have a pajama day. His teachers thought it was a great idea! He was so excited to wear his m&m shorts to school that day!
On the last day of pre-school the kids put on a show and they all got a certificate for "graduation".

He was soo proud. My baby is going on to Kindergarten now... Boo hoo! He's growing up!
Britton had his first Rain-gutter Regatta. The boys both had fun making their own boats and Ethan was able to participate in the "Open Category", it was a lot of fun.
Both the boys did a great job. Britton didn't win and he was fine with that. He had a lot of fun.

By the time it was Ethan's turn to race he had broken his boat in the practice pool so Britton let him use his.

Ultimately there were only three contestants so Ethan was awarded a trophy. This was when Britton fell apart! He was beside himself with sadness. He had me balling right along with him. I knew that Ethan would get a trophy because there were only three of contestants, but I couldn't downplay Ethan's win to make Britton feel better, that would not be fair.
All I could do is hug him and rock him... Then daddy and his infinite wisdom, thought about it for a minute and explained that Ethan could not have won if he didn't have Britton's boat so the trophy was both of theirs. It took a little time for him to calm down but he was fine with that and now the trophy sits on Britton's dresser and they are both so proud of it. "Phew"! That was a tough one!!!

Mother's Day.

They are such angels when they are sleeping.... (He has been sleeping with "BIG Fishy" for almost a whole year now), he loves that thing!

Britton made this for me for Mother's Day. His teachers are so awesome!

Antics!

More antics...
On Sunday afternoon Eric was really tired and he was being so silly. He was pretending to throw a tantrum about not wanting to go to work on Monday morning and he was whining and carrying about and then Ethan stood up on the chair and said "Slap out of it!" while trying to slap Eric across the face. It was so funny, I could not quit laughing. Kids think they know everything and then when they say things the way they think it is said we have the hardest time keeping a serious face about it.

Day 3, Perdenales State Park.

The last day was just as much fun as the first two. The wildflowers in Perdenales State Park were beautiful!
We took a little hike first thing when we got there. First we went to the beach.

This little lizard scared the bageebees out of Eric!!! He screamed like a girl. Just kidding! But this lizard was quick, he scared both of us.
Our campsite.

More hiking... We hiked to a little waterfall near the camp grounds.

A slimy worm just for Britton.

After we set up our tent we hiked down to the falls. To watch the sunset.
It was so pretty there. All I could do is try to imagine what it is like when the water is up. I thought it was nice though because you could actually hike down to the falls.

You never think of how many HUGE rocks are down there when they are all covered with rushing water.

So many beautiful pictures. Not as many as the first post but still a lot.

I love how these ones turned out.

The next morning before we were supposed to check out we went for another quick hike.
Well it would have been quick but Eric got us lost when he decided to take us on a short cut.
We did find a restroom out in the middle of no where. BUGS!!!
I was really starting to get worried...
We wondered around for about an hour.
Then we finally found a path and got back to our campsite.
When we were leaving we could see from the road where we were when we were lost.
See that hill? We were at the top of that hill. Crazy man! It was fun though.
