Terminator!!!

You can always tell when daddy's found a new app for his iphone...

Daddy loves his iphone. It was "the best Father's Day gift ever!"
Well for such a techie I believe it. He's always finding new things to do.

The boys are just like daddy. They really get into it with him.
Eric found this app called Fluid. It takes your background picture and makes it look like it's under water.

Wow! What a week...

Let's start with this cactus. It's right in our driveway and every time we pull in Ethan shouts "Mickey Cactus, Mickey Cactus!" It does kind of look like Mickey Mouse!

I though I better blog about Britton's birthday before I even go into the first day of first grade.
We celebrated Britton's Birthday at home since I had to work on that day and he had no idea that Grama was coming the next day.
He opened all his presents and we went out for Chinese. Britton's favorite.

We planned his party for later in the week with a few friends. We even sent Grama an invitation even though we knew she might not be able to make it.

The next day I totally lied to my kids. (Bad, bad Mommy) I told them we were going to go to the airport to find carts and return them for quarters. We did do that and they each made a dollar, but when we were hot and tired from all that (and Grama gave me the signal) I led them to the baggage claim to "rest". A few minutes later Grama came around the corner. Britton was so surprised! He looked over and said "Its Grama???"
We went out for ice cream to cool off after all that hard work.

Believe it or not, that night I finally started school myself. I'm taking a history class this simester. Its great. I can't believe it either. Below, my lovely Student ID card. It's official. I'm a student.
Anyways while I was at school Daddy and Grama took the boys to Pack Meeting. Britton is a wolf now and he is so excited.
Grama had lots of fun being there with them.
The next day we took the boys to the park so Grama could see them ride their bikes.

We did homework...
And we used britton's new Jenga game as dominos...
Then we went to Buck & Ozzy's for lunch.

On Thursday Britton got to invite a few friends to Chuck-E-Cheeses.
Noah,
Jared, & Eli,
and Madelyn. (They look so thrilled!)
Friday we took Grama to Austin. We went to the capitol and took a tour and we went to the visitors center.

The boys got to dress up like cowboys.

Silly daddy!

It was a lot of fun. I love history and it is so neat to learn about the past. How it all came about. And how it works nowadays.

Some really old trees!

We stayed till dusk and watched the bats emerge from under Congress Bridge. Millions of them do this every night.

Thank you Eddie and Nita for the birthday gifts.
The boys decided they were going to go home with grama.
