Mini me!

In April Ethan turned 3, he got this F150 for his birthday. Well rather than throwing out the box we made a playhouse with it. This playhouse has been through so much. We had to cut the door off because it was so tattered. I let the boys decorate it with stickers one day and all kinds of things.

Well when I decided it was time to let it go the boys were sad, so we made cutouts of each of them so they now have mini me's. Its so cute they kind of have some resemblances.

Britton drew the faces on both of them. The next day when Britton was at school, Ethan carried them both all around the house and talked to them like they were his friends.

Bulverde Jubalee!

Britton got to march in the parade again this year but this time he was in Cub Scouts.
Here they are getting in line to go.

This was like Ethan's first time to watch a parade because last year we were in it.

He thought it was the coolest thing when they kept throwing candy to him.

Here comes Britton!

"LOOK, MOM CARS!"

Post office on wheels!

He was using his shirt to hold all of his candy.

A job well done!

I made little reward charts for the boys to help with getting them to do what they are supposed to around the house. The boys love it and are getting to be such wonderful contributors of our little family...

I got this poster from the teacher store and put Velcro dots on it then I colored 12 little aliens and had them laminated. I put the other half of the Velcro on the aliens. Every time Britton helps out or does something nice he gets an alien. When he has cast all 12 of them to outer space he gets to pick a prize.

I made this poster for Ethan with 10 different colors. Every time he helps out or does something nice he gets to put on one scoop. When he gets all 10 he gets to pick a prize.

Punkin Patch.

We went to the Love Creek Orchards and Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch.

We went on a hay ride...

We made Scarecrows...

We had a tour through the orchard. And we had homemade apple cider.

We had roasted corn and Pumpkin apple ice cream.

And the boys got to ride the ponies. (Ethan's was a mule).

These are called Cinderella Pumpkins.

I got to be Apple Annie.

The petting zoo was cool. The boys got to brush the mini horse and hold baby chicks.

I think this was Ethan's favorite part.

Riding the Bus.

I know school has been in session for about 6 weeks now, but I have been slacking on this post. Britton has been riding the bus home from school since about the second week.

He likes it a lot. When we go places he tells me "that's where Micah gets off the bus and that's where Levi gets off." It's so cute.

Every afternoon Ethan hops into his truck and heads down the driveway with me to "pick up brother."

He loves to give Britton a ride to the front door. He also likes to drive right passed it and make Britton mad.
