Graduations, Parties, and Ceremonies, oh my!

Pre-First Graduates!

Well the last day of school has finally come and gone. Britton has changed so much in just one year. I can't say how thankful I am for the Pre-First Program. Britton really needed the extra time, and now he won't have to compete with the bigger kids. He's right were he belongs.

A special thanks to Miss Culpepper for taking such great care of our babies. They have matured in her class, grown up right before her, with all her help and guidance.

Miss C. had all the kidos climb into the "cocoon".

And crawl out to become a beautiful butterfly.

She helped them with their wings...

gave them each a certificate...

and they got to fly through the school.

Party Time!

They had a big all day party at the school, I went to volunteer and stayed for lunch with Britton. I love to go have lunch with him at school. He thinks its pretty awesome too. Sometimes I bring Ethan along. Ethan can't wait to go to Britton's school when he gets bigger.

This was our group. Britton, Micah, Danniel, and Wyatt.

The boys had a blast on all the moon bounces and other things.

They had cotton candy, sno cones, and got their faces painted.

mmm...

But the best part was...

Dunking Miss Coonts!

Cub Scouts Crossing Over Ceremony!

Britton finished Tiger Cubs and is now a Wolf.

They are all so little. He got his new neckerchief and book.

He wants to get started right away. The thing he is most excited about I think is that he is supposed to cook as one of the requirements. He's gonna make me breakfast.

The boys loved this statue. I thought it was pretty cute.

There is Ethan in his Future Scout hat I made for him and his new neckerchief that Britton handed down to him. He wants to be like BIG bro soo bad.

Jersey Straight Ahead!!!

Well a Jersey Farm that is.

This year for Memorial Day we took the boys to a Jersey Farm in La Grange. It was a blast!
We got to feed goats.

Ethan got right into it. Britton wasn't going to until the tour guide said she was almost out of food. Then he thought he better get in on the action.

Billy and Willy still wanted more...

Piggies! Dirty stinky PIGGIES!

What is a farm without ducks?

Here is where they keep the calves until they are big enough to hang with the big dogs. I mean big cows :) They each have there own little house complete with fenced in yard.

This was fun. Britton again, said he wasn't going to do it but changed his mind pretty quickly.

I had to help them hold the bottle though because that big baby was pretty tough and kept yanking on the bottle.

It was so cool. The boys had a lot of fun.

Man he woofed that milk down. Reminds me of Ethan. He would drink 10 glasses of milk at every sitting if I let him. He loves milk.

And now he gets where it comes from. Kind of...

Famous last words??? More milk please.

Isn't she cute?

Turkeys too.

We went through a hay bale maze...

Nature boy here.

And took a hay ride to the dairy.

They didn't believe us when we told them they were going to milk a cow.

Utterly disgusting! J/K... We all drink milk right? Well most of us do.

Somehow I got out of doing all of this gross stuff. Man I'm good.

I don't know, I wanted the boys to do it but its just not my thing.

Now that's the BIGGEST pig I have ever seen!

This is Ethel. 500 pounds! The tour guide said she was the sweetest pig you will ever meet.

Now what is a trip to the Dairy Farm without ICE CREAM?

mmm...

Thats all folks!
