School Christmas Parties!

I had so much fun going to the boys' Christmas parties. It worked out great this year, Britton had his on Tuesday and Ethan's was on Wednesday so I didn't have to miss anything.

At Ethan's party they had hot cocoa and made marshmallow snow flakes.

The two 4 year old classes together.

They had a Texas Snowman contest and the kids got to wrap up the mommies in t.p.

Then they got to rip it all off!

After all the fun we ordered Sonic for lunch.

and sang happy birthday to Jesus.

Then they put on a little program that they all worked so hard on.

LOVE IT!



At Britton's school they planned a Christmas Around the World party.
It was lots of fun. The kids learned about different traditions and celebrations.

They went to China and learned about Chinese New Year.

In Mexico, they made an ornament,

and ate tamales and Mexican cookies.







Miss Murphy is so Awesome!



They went to Germany and made a Christmas Tree, ate German Coffee Cake,



and put their shoes out to be filled with gifts.

And in France they had more treats and made a Christmas Wish.

It was a lot of fun and at the end of the day Britton had lots to tell daddy about other traditions.

Though I don't know many people who are good with a camera and our camera isn't the greatest Eric's mom agreed to take some photos of the 4 of us one day. Despite all the shenanigans we put up with, they turned out pretty well.

I had asked Lynda ahead of time and we didn't really plan a specific day. One afternoon when we got home from church the boys were in good moods so I said lets do it!

This was a fun one I just thought it was kind of cute and candid. Real life kind of...

Britton is our clown and resident instigator.

If he jokes Ethan jokes, they are the epitome of "Monkey See, Monkey Do!"

You can see how any parent would want to pull all their hair out.

Just when you think he's about to get serious...

...He just can't do it.

But after all that you get pictures like these and you know you can just hug, and kiss, and love them for ever!

Festivities!!!

This was Eric and the boys at our Ward Christmas Party. We had breakfast for dinner and everyone (well almost everyone) came in their p.j.'s.


The next day we pulled all the stuff out to make lots of goodies for our friends and family.

We made chocolate rice crispy squares...

Pretzels with melted rollo candies on top and a pecan stuck in the middle...







Chocolate fudge and peanut butter fudge...

mmm...

A good chef makes sure what he is serving is yummy!

Yep! Its yummy alright!

It took us all day but we managed to get it all packed up and delivered before bedtime. Well Ethan didn't even make it off our street but Britton helped me bring it to the doors.
