Saying Goodbye.

Two years ago we got Fez and Fuz for the boys.

In April we found out that Ethan had asthma and have since been trying to decide if we should keep the kitties or not. Personally, I don't like cats much so it wasn't too tough a decision for me but it was hard for Britton. Combined with Ethan having asthma, Eric has it as well (he won't admit it affects him) but 3 cats in this little old house with all the dust from the fields around us and all the other factors we chose to find them a new home.

I posted these two pics on Craigslist and found a great family to adopt them.

This little girl is the same age as Britton. Her and her sister were so excited to be getting 2 new kitties.

Britton was so sad and nervous when they came. He didn't know how to react so he was so hyper.

We took a few pictures for our book and they are going to keep in touch.

I'm sorry Britton I know your sad.

This is one their mom sent. They are doing fine and the girls love the new pets.

I know it was hard but we have to make a lot of changes. We need to think of Ethan and even daddy. Britton is doing fine now though.

Next? Ripping out the carpet.

Just Ginger!

My wonderful home teacher gave us a ginger bread house to build with the boys.

We had so much fun putting it together.

The boys had a blast eating it.

Every time I turned around Ethan was eating another candy.

We had plenty though. Too much even!

It turned out really cute!

Then we had some fun with the extra frosting...

mmmmmmmm....

To our Buddy Brayden.

Quickly putting all other blogging aside-Brayden is one of Britton's buddies from before we moved away from Utah. Melissa (Brayden's mom) and a close friend to me, was pregnant with Brayden at the same time I was pregnant with Britton. We actually shared two pregnancies as we were both prego at the same time with our second boys. Brayden I hope you had a great birthday here's to you and Britton even though as you grow up you also grow apart. I hope we are all still friends when you two are all grown up.

"As told by Britton"

I was 4 months old on Christmas Eve, when my first buddy was born. We went to the hospital to see him.

Our mommies loved to get us together to play! This was on Memorial Day. When they came to our house our mommies realized they had dressed us the same and didn't even plan it that way.

One time we went to see Elmo and Zoe, Brayden was so brave but I cried so bad that mom had to sit in the picture with me. She is too vein and cropped herself out of this one :)

Brayden came to my bowling party when I turned 2. We all had lots of fun.

We both became BIG brothers. My baby brother Ethan was born in April 2005.

In July 2005 when Conner was born we went with mommy and daddy to welcome him and celebrate Brayden being a BIG bro.

Now Ethan had his first buddy.

We loved to have our pals over to play from time to time.

When we found out we were moving away we all got together for one last play date. We both miss our pals Brayden and Conner.

Mommy helped us make this card for you Brayden. We hope you had an Incredible birthday. From Britton & Ethan.

Thats using your noodle!

We put some noodles in two bowls with ceramic paint (one with red and one with green) then shook them until they were coated. We let them dry on wax paper, and then strung them up to hang on our tree.

They turned out great and the boys had so much fun.

Getting Ready For Santa...

I know this is super late but i had to get it posted. On Black Friday we had a party in our town where Santa arrived on a fire truck to light up the big Christmas Tree and we had cocoa and cookies.

The kids all came to the post office to write letters to Santa.

Ok Ethan what do you want for Christmas?

Britton drew little pictures of what he wanted.

He was concentrating so hard.

The next day we put lights in the window, and set up our Christmas Tree.

We had so much fun.

Daddy put the top on...

And while the boys were all dressed up in their Sunday close I took their picture in front of the tree. I love it on Sundays when they look so handsome.

We got these decorations on the day after Christmas last year. The boys love to sit in the window and look at these lights.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
