Happy Anniversary Honey!

Nine years have gone by like the blink of an eye. My love of my life by my side. He gave me the life I live with pride.
When I look back and see, we were just kids. So young and ready to start our life together. Then and now. A look into the past, our history. Before digital cameras, college, children, and a home of our own. Time flies. Life is too short to not own a camera. Take pictures often, keep those memories close. I'm so happy we found one another. I love you Eric.
Love Me.

All Because of You

Dark days become sunny
Frigid days become warm,
Rainy days become cloudless
And lightning got wiped away from the storm.

Oceans sing,
Rocks cry out,
Mountains roar,
And tree branches shout.

The stars fall
Right out of the sky.
The moon winks
And the sun went dry.

All because you said one thing
All because you said it true
All because you made me smile
All because you said I love you.

It's finally here!

For my birthday in March we ordered a Co-Pilot for Britton. It's a bike that hooks on to Daddies bike so they can ride together. I have always wanted one and we felt like Britton was finally big enough. Well it took a while but it's here. We went to McAllister Park for a ride and had a picnic. It's so awesome. Ethan rode in the cart hooked to my bike and Britton and Daddy rode together. Britton kept saying him and Daddy were going to beat us because they have 4 feet and Ethan and I only have 2. So cute! I'm so happy that we can ride our bikes more now. We stopped going because the boys would always fight when they were in the cart together. Woo hoo!

Fooling around!

On Christmas day we were out in the yard playing. I must admit it is nice to have an average of 300 days a year of sun here. The boys are missing out on snow but we are doing alright. Ethan loves the teeter totter, he just laughs and laughs. Britton loves taking Ethan for a ride on the teeter tooter.

Encore!

This one is for my sister who told me that her and Brian (my soon to be brother in law) watched Fancy Footwork like 10 times! I was trying to find one of Ethan and got sucked into our complete video library. Here I am bawling "Tell me it isn't true. Tell me they're not 3 and 5." Time sure flies. Enjoy Britton at about 2 years old when Oma and Opa delivered our piano. Don't fret, the one of Ethan is coming.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Ethan had a wonderful 3rd Birthday. We had lots of fun at the park will friends and family. We made a cake out of Krispy Kreme Donuts and decorated it with sunglasses and slinkys. Everyone thought it was really cool. The boys just love driving around in Ethan's new Truck. Every time we go somewhere and Britton sees a F150 he gets all excited. I can'tbelieve how fast they grow. My baby is 3.

Fancy Footwork!

This is an old video but I came across it this morning while organizing my files. Britton loves to dance and I thought he looked so cute. It is called his "Carmel tip toe dance!" Where he got the name? I don't know. I'll never forget the funny and cute things they do.

Can I buy you lunch?

While Grama was here we went to have lunch with Britton at school he thought it was so cool to buy Grama lunch on his account.

Anything you can do I can do better!

Britton had been singing this song for a few days "Anything you can do I can do better!" I thought it was cute. I had the song in my head and he just picked it up. Well he wasn't kidding. One week after Ethan was admitted to the hospital Britton fell from his bunk bed and landed on his back. He couldn't feel his feet when I tickled him so we called the EMS. He was taken by life flight to the hospital and spent the night. After a chest x-ray, a cat scan, an MRI, and some special attention from his nurses he was sent home. We spent the night in the parents room and the next morning when we went to his room he was there with all these nurses around him he had a chocolate milk, cereal, crayons, and coloring book, and a jeep, and 3 dinosaurs. They told us he couldn't ever go home and that they wanted to keep him. We are so happy that he is ok.

Poor Baby!

Well we had a fun two weeks before Grama came to visit. On March 24th Ethan had a major asthma attack and was admitted into the hospital. He had to have an IV in his little hand and had monitors on his chest and pinkie toe. He spent the night and had treatments every 4 hours. He is doing fine now and has to have treatments every morning and night. He was such a trooper, he never let it get him down.

Ethan likes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while he and Elmo do their treatments. He does pretty well as long as we let him hold the mask.

Bunk beds!

So about mid March we decided to get the boys new beds. We thought it was time to get Bunk Beds to keep Ethan from beating up his brother while he tried to sleep. They love their new beds. Britton feels like such a big boy because he gets the top bunk and Ethan loves to make a tent with his bed.

Ketchup!

I wish I had started this blog back when my friend Melissa first told me about it. I wouldn't have to play catch up with some of the fun we have been having. We had a wonderful Spring Break. Britton and I made a Ginger Bunny house with the Ginger Bread kit he gave me for Christmas. We used all kinds of spring candies and candy bunnies, and we colored some coconut for the grass. I turned out so cute and he really enjoyed it. We also made a bunny cake for Ethan to take to "school" Kiddie Koop.

Tough guys!

Well I think I figured it out. So here it is. A little about our blog name. We wanted something with our name but the kids wanted to help out too. When Britton started kindergarten he picked up the nasty habit of saying things like Ethan poo poo or daddy poo poo all the time we didn't like to hear that kind of thing so I convinced him to say Daddy boo boo in stead and Ethan picked that right up and called daddy Daddy boo boo for the longest time. We thought it was a great way to remember those funny habits they pick up!
