One Last Trip!

The day before we came home we drove to Idaho Falls to see a friend of mine from O.C Tanner and meet her husband. She had just had her baby a week before.
We went to a place called Sundaes. It's like Leatherby's in Utah. They serve ice cream and lots of it.
The boys though the baby was pretty neat.

I made the mistake of letting them order their own ice cream.
I can't believe how big a kids size is.
You can tell they were enjoying it.

But oh well. It's vacation right?

Brent, Tiffany, and their baby boy.
He is so precious. His name is Chandler.
We didn't get to visit long but it was about a 3 hour drive and we still had to pack our bags to leave for home in the morning.

Some of us couldn't stay awake!
Lawna came over to say good bye.
Branden and Kirsten helped get us and all our stuff to the airport. It wouldn't all fit in Grama's car.
This was our plane.

Snowbird Ski Resort

While we were in Utah -I know it was 2 months ago but I'm almost done I promise - anyways, we went to one of our favorite places. Yanni's. They have the best gyros and their fries are awesome! Britton likes to blow the paper off the straw and he blew it right into Grama's mouth. It was pretty funny.

We spent most of the day at Snowbird. I couldn't believe how much snow there was in June.

We stopped off to look at the rushing water. It was so loud.

The boys were so cold. All I brought was shorts for them.

We really wanted to take the boys on the Alpine Slide. We had planned to go the day before but it rained.
Well sure enough it started raining right after we bought our tickets. We went to the cafe for hot cocoa and waited it out.
It seemed like every time we thought it stopped raining we would get up to the booth and it would start up again.
We waited it out so long that Ethan finally fell asleep.
Wouldn't you know it. The sun came out after that. I told Eric and Britton to go and I would stay in the car with Grama and Ethan.
Britton sure loved it.
We saw this beaver all through the day. He was so cute.
Back down the mountain.

Photo op. Can't pass that up.

Britton trying to move the rock!

Then they all climbed on top of it.

The boys really loved it. They are such nature boys. They love camping and all that outdoors stuff.
Luckily I like it too.
