Not really kicked off but run off by this huge thunder storm. We were having so much fun then these clouds rolled in from out of no where. It was very pretty though.
Besides getting ready for my sisters wedding we did hit the beach a few times with the fam. It was so nice to be with my sibs. I miss them all soooo much.
We were all about to go nuts after working all night on the centerpieces! Shelbies up-do.
Britton, Ethan, and Auntie Songe took a break to play SORRY! Britton brought it all the way from home to play with her.
Eric and I snuck off early Wednesday morning to watch the sun rise. It was so beautiful.
Playing cards with Grama. Goofing around with Shelbie. The nice thing about vacationing with family? You can get them to watch the kidos while you play for a change. It took Ethan a while but he came out of his "shell". Ha, ha! Shelbie found a starfish. We got up early Thursday to go back to the beach.
We loved the sunrise so much we took Eric's parents back with us.
Finally 48 hours after we left home we made it to our destination. We had been talking about the beach all the way there so first thing Tuesday morning we hit the sand. It was kind of like their first time since it has been so long since the last time we went to the shore.
We almost didn't make it past the board walk. They were so intrigued by how warm the sand was.
Britton was hooked right away, he loved it.
Ethan wasn't so sure about water rushing towards him so quickly.
For the most part if he wasn't on my lap he was far from the water.
We are ready to hit the road. See you soon aunt Songe. One hour or two later. "Are we there yet?" Ethan kept saying "I want to go to Florida!" Stennis space center Mississippi. Every time we stopped at a rest stop or gas station Ethan would say "I found it Florida!" Mommy and the boys under the lunar landing module. Moon boot foot prints of Fred Haise Apollo 13. Mississippi! Lego Shuttle. The entire thing is made of Legos. Alabama... USS Alabama. Sleep tight boys we will be there tomorrow morning.
