A job well done!

I made little reward charts for the boys to help with getting them to do what they are supposed to around the house. The boys love it and are getting to be such wonderful contributors of our little family...

I got this poster from the teacher store and put Velcro dots on it then I colored 12 little aliens and had them laminated. I put the other half of the Velcro on the aliens. Every time Britton helps out or does something nice he gets an alien. When he has cast all 12 of them to outer space he gets to pick a prize.

I made this poster for Ethan with 10 different colors. Every time he helps out or does something nice he gets to put on one scoop. When he gets all 10 he gets to pick a prize.

Punkin Patch.

We went to the Love Creek Orchards and Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch.

We went on a hay ride...

We made Scarecrows...

We had a tour through the orchard. And we had homemade apple cider.

We had roasted corn and Pumpkin apple ice cream.

And the boys got to ride the ponies. (Ethan's was a mule).

These are called Cinderella Pumpkins.

I got to be Apple Annie.

The petting zoo was cool. The boys got to brush the mini horse and hold baby chicks.

I think this was Ethan's favorite part.

Riding the Bus.

I know school has been in session for about 6 weeks now, but I have been slacking on this post. Britton has been riding the bus home from school since about the second week.

He likes it a lot. When we go places he tells me "that's where Micah gets off the bus and that's where Levi gets off." It's so cute.

Every afternoon Ethan hops into his truck and heads down the driveway with me to "pick up brother."

He loves to give Britton a ride to the front door. He also likes to drive right passed it and make Britton mad.

Ethan's Creation

The latest thing with Ethan is this bundle of colored Popsicle sticks he bought with his "Allowance". We were driving home from Wal-Mart one day and he shouted from the back seat with such joy! "Look what I made mom!" When I looked back the excitement on his face said it all. As soon as we got home I got my camera. This shoe sat like this for a couple days. He would not take them out to wear them he just wore his flip flops in stead.

Hope you can see the picture. He wouldn't sit still for a minute. Maybe if you click on the picture.
