Rock-n-Roll Forever!!

We went to Britton's end of year program last week. It was a lot of fun. It was called Rock-n-Roll Forever! Britton was so nervous but he got up there and did his line proud.

He was worried because when he practiced his line in class everyone laughed at him. I told him they were laughing at his line not at him. His line is funny. I also told him that if everyone on the audience laughed he did it right and if they didn't then he did it wrong.

Thank goodness they all laughed. He was embarrassed though.
Rock-N-Roll is Here to Stay!

I Wanna Hold Your hand!

Autographs anyone?

I think he feels like a Super Star. He was so proud of himself when we got home.

Handsome.

SCHLITTERBAHN!!!

The last time we went to skate night with the school Britton won the last drawing of the night. He won tickets to Schlitterbahn. For those of you who don't know what Schlitterbahn is, it's an awesome water park! We had a great time there. I think this is the most fun I have had since we moved here 2 years ago.

We bought a couple of disposable water proof cameras so we could take pictures. They are not the greatest quality but at least we have pics.

It's a great place for the whole family.

They have a play area for littler kids.

We were only here for a little bit though.

The thing I loved the most was that they could go on any slide we went on.

They have these tubes that have a mesh basket in them just for kids.

The boys could just sit in the basket and enjoy the ride.

The boys were so brave. They went on all the slides and had lots of fun.

Even on the waterfalls and hills they had fun.

It worried me when daddy let go of Britton but he did fine.

He did tip over a few times but they have free life jackets so he knew what to do.

Ethan was with me most of the time and Britton was with daddy. There is a little strap to hold onto so we could keep them close. I only got separated from Ethan once but it scared me to death. Needless to say we didn't go on that slide again. It was a little too rough for me.

We decided to make it a tradition to save up and go every year the week before Memorial day. It was warm enough and we didn't have to wait in line one time.

Hey! That's my shirt!

I told Ethan that if he could wear my boots then I get to wear his shirt! He just laughed at me...

... So I took it off him and put it on. What a site! The things we do to make our kids laugh.

Ahh. Scouts!

Britton and daddy had the pleasure of spending the night at the zoo with Pack 548. It looks like they had lots of fun.
Thay began with dissecting owl pellets. Yes! Owl puke! "EWE!"

"GROSS"

Looks like he enjoyed it though.

Then they got to pet some creatures.

I think it would be cool to see the zoo at night.

They got to see a lot of the nocturnal animals that you don't always get to see when you visit the zoo.

I didn't know Flamingos were nocturnal?

Well you might recognize this Komodo Dragon. We "Always" have to get a picture on it when we go to the zoo. This time it is just dark outside.

Picnic in the dark!

Then there was a demonstration about birds.

Time to set up camp.

The next morning they got to see a lot of animals bright and early.

Some were ready for Breakfast.

MMM...

They got to feed the Loris.

Britton really loved that.

He said their claws didn't even hurt. "Looks like his uncle Bobby in this one"
Love you uncle Bob.

I can't wait till Ethan is in scouts then we'll have an excuse for all of us to go.

THE END!
