Last month Eric got me season passes to the childrens theater for my birthday and we took the boys to see "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs". We hung out at the park after and I reveled in awe at just how big my babies are getting!

The Children's theater is one of my favorite places to go and what fun would it be without my children.
This story was sooo cute! The reporter had to investigate who was the real guilty party, and at the end the audience got to vote.
First the pig told how the wolf ate his two brothers and tried to eat him...

Then the wolf told about how his dear Grama used to bake for him and give him good advice like "cover your mouth when you sneeze" and "eat all your ham". His Grama was sick and he wanted to bake her a cake but was out of sugar.
He said he tried to borrow sugar from the pigs and their houses triggered his allergies and he sneezed, that was what blew their houses away.
All he could remember when he saw them was "eat all your ham" so he had to eat them.
Then there was Little Red Riding Hood's story but I don't remember much about her account...
When it came time to vote the winner was.....
The BIG Bad Wolf! I don't know how he won but they said he wins 99.9 % of the time.
Yes I voted for the BIG Bad Wolf, and so did the boys.... Hey! I eat ham, and I forget to cover my mouth when I sneeze sometimes too.

Ketchup!!!

Wow! We have been soo busy lately. I just can't keep up! I got another A in History this semester. Woo Hoo! That's 2 for 2. I'm taking English Comp this coming semester... I start Thursday wish me luck.

So where was I? Britton entered his car in the Pinewood Derby but didn't win any of the races. I am so proud of him though because no matter how well the other kids in his den did he was upbeat and happy, he was just there to have fun.

He did all the work himself.

They had a bake sale and someone made this huge cupcake they were kind of auctioning it off so we let him get it. He was soo excited.

About a week before the derby they had the popcorn awards and handed out prizes for the kids who sold popcorn. They all got a gift card for 10% of the popcorn they sold. Well since Britton sold almost $700. he got a $70. Visa Card. He couldn't believe it. He was soo happy. He was saying we got $70.? And we kept telling him no HE got $70. he did all the work. We are soo proud. We told him he had to put half away and he could spend the other half and he decided to order an ant farm from amazon.com. After about one week it was here. We have had so much fun watching these little workaholics dig, dig, dig!

Day 1

Day 3

Day 5

Day 10 and they are still going.

We also went to a birthday party this last week for Britton's friend it was at the petting zoo. It was lots of fun. Little bitty pony...

Pony rides...

Goats...

Sheep...

And for the finally!!! A guy that comes into my work brought his car by so the boys could see it.

It's Barricade from the movie Transformers! For those of you who don't know who Barricade is, he's a decepticon (bad guy). Bumblebee (good guy) fights him in the first Transformer movie.

Britton was ecstatic!!! He went nuts, it totally made his day.

Final touches...

We finally got around to putting the hockey table that the boys got from Oma & Opa for Christmas together.

It was the final touch. I must say it is fun for the whole family.
