My new treadmill!

Yeah! I finally got a new treadmill. I have been saving for 2 months. I know that's not that long but I'm so excited because it was going to take till Christmas to save up, but we had a garage sale and we made enough to cover the rest. I'm so happy!

The boys are not allowed to go near it. I'm taking every precaution this time since they contributed to the death of my old treadmill back in June. They did however get to keep the box.
We got out the crayons and colored, and decorated it.
The boys dressed up like pirates and went out to sea.
It was so cute they loved it.
This box is huge so we keep it on the patio and bring it in the house to play then put it back outside at bed time.

Britton will make a great pirate some day.

Last night when the sun went down it was so pretty.
We had the best view right from our yard.

The boys wanted to have a camp out.
So I made them a tent on their bunk bed.
They were having so much fun.
But after being called in there three times because Ethan was hitting Britton and being mean.
Britton decided he wanted to sleep in his own bed.
I was going in after being called and I heard Britton cry "I'm sleeping on MY bed Ethan"!
It was a fun thought but they just couldn't get along...

Ethan was well rested and oh so excited to go to school last week. September 1st was his first day and he did a great job.
He goes to school about an hour and a half after Britton so we hang out a little before school. I think it helps us both. I miss him so much.
We got dressed, and made his lunch. (Don't mind our dirty dishes).
P.B.&J. with grapes and carrot sticks, and "don't forget the chocolate milk." he tells me.
Ready!
With his back pack he heads for the door. "Slow down, we have time" I tell him.
He was so excited.
I think he got tired of posing for pictures but he did a good job hiding it.
"OK mom, I'm settled in, you can go now". At least that was the message I got from this look!
He did great, his teacher really loves him.
The second day he was (oh, my! Look at that drool) happy and ready to do it all again...

Bittersweet!

Britton's first day of first grade was bittersweet. Grama got to take him to school but she also had to go home that day. We got up early and went to breakfast then went to the school.

Britton is so excited to be in first grade. In the morning before school starts he gets to go to the playground or to the gym on cold or rainy days.
After we took Britton to school we went home so Grama could pack up. We hung out for a while then took her to the airport.
Ethan did ok until we actually had to say goodbye.
He was sobbing, he misses Grama soooo much! Each night he cried a little when we went to bed because he missed Grama. He's getting better now. He still misses her though. The other day we started talking about Grama and he started crying again.

WE MISS YOU GRAMA!!!
