Cincinnati.

Way back in September Eric had to go to Cincinnati for some conferences with his work, I thought it would be a good chance for me to catch up on some sleep (we only had to buy one ticket and the hotel was paid for) so we asked his parents to take care of the kids and I met up with him a few days after he left.
I really enjoyed relaxing in our room while Eric was at his meetings but I admit I missed the noise and demands of my kiddos. We did get to see the sights in the evenings. This is the BIGG-EST jar of Nutella I have ever seen! It was at this place called Just Crepes. Bet you can't guess what they served there.
We didn't go to a Reds game but we went to the field and walked around.

We had the best pastrami burgers at Izzy's.
They were on "man vs. wild" for their famous giant Ruben, just two weeks before we were there.
Someone in one of Eric's meetings told him about this international market so we just had to try it. Their restrooms have been on various news stations because they are so funny. It looks like an outhouse but when you open the door it's a large elaborate restroom. It was so funny.
They have tons of organic foods and all kinds of international foods too.

e also tried this place "Blue Ash Chili". They were on Diners Drive-ins and Dives.
I didn't care for it though. Apparently it is cinnamon that makes their chili famous. Not my cup of tea.
This cupcake place was in the hotel lobby and boy it was hard to come and go without buying a cupcake every time.

We just thought this building was cool.

Another place that was on triple D.

These pictures are not really in order but who's keeping track? We rented a car for the last day since we were in walking distance to most places. I stayed at the hotel while Eric went to pick it up and this is what he came back with.
we spent our last day driving all over Ohio, seeing as much as we could see before it was time to go home.

Eric really enjoyed the buildings and the bridges in Cincinnati.

On Saturday before we left we had lunch at Oktoberfest, the entire street in front of our hotel was closed and there were so many people there. I missed my kids (and my inlaws) but I sure had fun while doing it. I'm thankful for Eric's parents for watching the kids and taking such good care of them. Especially since Riley came down with an ear infection the day before I left.

Wow! Have I got work to do?

Now that Ethan is in scouts he was finally part of the jubilee parade!
britton was pretty excited for his little brother.
I wish they didn't have to grow up. :0(

Which brings me to... These two, this was a 9 month picture. That's just how far behind I am. Look how BIG they are getting!
At 9 months...
Reagan:
Slept through the night, could hold her own bottle, clap her hands, sit on her own, and crawl every-where like a little lizard! (soldier crawl)
Riley:
Slept through the night, could hold her own bottle, sit on her own and sit herself up if she needed to, clap her hands sometimes, but not crawl just yet.
We took the girls for their first swim way back in September.
These pictures are backward. This was after we swam but I don't have time to be picky...
After swimming a little while Oma and Opa sat and fed the girls so we could swim with the boys.

The "6 pack" yep! We are THAT family. The one with ALL those kids. :0)

Reagan didn't like how cold it was but after she got used to it she had some fun...

Riley absolutly loved it.

Where has every one been? :)

Ok, this is kind of odd but we got a new computer and I have been avoiding it at ALL cost,-the only post I made in October was while I was at my sister's house and I used her computer-What can I say? I do-not-like-change! Anyways when our proofs came in from our mini family photo session (coming soon) I knew I had to get back to it. I don't recall blogging about my sweet baby boy losing his first two teeth so I thought this would be a good time to "test" my skills on this new computer and maybe spark my old blogger flame once again.

On the very last day of school Ethan lost his first tooth, (I may have blogged about this) but then in September his second tooth was loose and I think for the longest time, I was more excited than he was. I would tug and yank on the little thing and he wouldn't cry or resist or anything. He never went on to play with it himself either so I thought it was never coming out'ta that mouth! Till one night while brushing his teeth I mentioned that he may NEV-VER lose it. We did our normal bedtime routine and I tucked him in... About 3 minutes later he came out of his room with a bloody tooth in his hand and blood dripping down his chin. The boy could not have had a bigger smile! He was so excited he pulled it out all by himself.
Phew! That wasn't too bad, looks like I'm back!!! More posts coming soon. I have a lot of catching up to do.
