Poor Baby!

See that little blister at the top of Ethan's head? Well that is called a Piogentic Granuloma...
Its' a little blood blister that some kids get. They don't know why kids get them but they are generally harmless. But if it gets cut or bumped it will bleed for ever.

While we were in Houston Ethan bumped his head right on the blister. It got huge over the weekend so we took him in to see the dermatologist again. We had it removed before but it didn't work. Since it was growing we decided to try again. It was aweful but Ethan was so brave. They numbed it and took a strait edge razor to remove it.

He had to wear this bandage for 48 hours. He did a great job. Daddy brought pizza home for our brave little boy. mmm...

Big bro felt so bad and was so worried about E.

He gave him some of his lego for being so brave. It was sweet and darn cute too!

Healing up just fine.

Today 3-19-09- no more boo boo.

Ketchup.

Wow! Where did February go? Its almost St. Patrick's day and I'm still back at Valentines and other stuff.

We went to the Sock Hop at Britton's school and the kids all had so much fun. I think Oma had the most fun.

Britton has some great moves huh?

Blue and Gold Banquet

The Blue and Gold Banquet is to Celebrate the 100th Birthday of Scouts.

It was a lot of fun. They had a "Fellers Cake Bake", where the Scout makes and decorates a cake with their dad or grown up guy with no help from Mommy. She wasn't even allowed to help clean up. Too bad huh?

The guys decided to make a rice crispy cake. The cakes were going to be judged. The theme they chose was best scouting cake. Every thing on the cake had to be edible.

They created a camp site with trees, a camp fire, tents, gummy bears rafting, and fish in the water, with German chocolate frosting and broccoli, wheat thins, life savers, gold fish, jelly beans, candy corn, and gummy bears.

It turned out so good. I loved it. I didn't want them to cut it up.

Another theme was "Best 100th birthday theme". I thought there were so many creative and cool cakes.

Besides Britton's cake I liked this one with the Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and Tiger the best.

This was the cake that won for the best scout theme. It was way cool too. I thought Britton had it in the bag though. We heard a lot of comments on the broccoli. The banquet was catered (mmm Mexican food)... Afterward, the cakes were served for desert.

LEGO Store!

Such little sleepy heads...

...Time to get up and go to the LEGO Store.

The boys loved sleeping in the hotel. They felt right at home.

After we loaded up the car and checked out we went right to the LEGO Store.

It was our last stop before going home.

"I see it!"

"Ohh Ahh!"

The pick a brick wall. They each got to fill one cup with any of the pieces they wanted.

Ethan loves to just dig out all the steering wheels or circles at home so when I asked him what he wanted he said I need a million of steering wheels.

It was so cute. He practically filled the whole cup with steering wheels.

This is what he likes to make with all his steering wheels! "Don't ask!"

Some cool displays.

They spent every penny Grama, and Oma and Opa gave them.
