Using our noodle...

This is what I do when my kids are at school. I have been wanting to get this done but have been so busy with painting the house that it has taken me for ever. Last week I bought an assortment of noodles and went home to color them.
I put a mixture of noodles in 10 zip-lock bags, added a squirt of craft/acrylic paint and about 1/2 tsp. of water, sealed them up and shook them till the noodles were coated.

I laid each color out on tin-foil and let them dry, stirring with a plastic butter knife so they didn't stick together.
And this is what we ended up with!

Last night we made noodle pictures with school glue and construction paper.
The boys had lots of fun and Ethan even asked if we can make some colored noodles for him to take to school and share with his class.

Now that's ART!
I even got in on the creativity...

Love it, love it, love it!!!

This post should have come before the one with Ethan helping with the baby stuff but I still had a few things to get hung on the walls. We finally got around to painting our bedroom. I love it so much, it looks like a totally different room.
This is Eric's "Office" before...

After...

Our closet before...
and after...

The south wall and window before...
We actually removed the door in May and closed it in and just now finished with the painting and finishing touches.

No more door...

and after...
Its like there was never even a door there...

The west wall and windows before...
This is our accent wall so it is a little darker...

After... I turned out soo good!!!
The outside wall to our closet before...
and after... TaDa! My pride and joy! I made this when we lived in our house in Utah and just updated the colors to match our room now. This is the greatest project I have ever done! I'm so proud of it.
I can't wait to update the pictures when the girls are here!

One Thrilled BIG Brother!

Ethan is so excited to be a BIG Brother. On Sunday we set up the changing table and started putting some of the clothes we have gotten in the dresser. The minute Ethan walked into my room he wanted to help, so I let him get on the step ladder and put the clothes away as I folded them. (Yes! I wore my P.J.'s all day!)

He was so cute, he tried to put some of the clothes on, and he just kept talking...

Not that his going on and on is new, Ethan talks ALL the time. He NEVER stops... He's quite the story teller...

After lunch he helped Daddy put the cradle together.
This was lots of fun...
He didn't leave Eric's side until it was complete!

Britton was the same way when we had Ethan. He helped me when I changed him, when I bathed him, when I fed him, and he liked to help burp him. On this particular day though Britton was no where to be found. He didn't even come to see what we were doing.
Taa Daa!!!
I think we are getting close to ready. Well as ready as you can be for twins!!!

My latest picture, I finally got a shot that I approved of. 27 weeks and counting...
I think this facial expression takes the focus off my belly. What do you think? Ya?
