A Heartfelt Thanks...

About a month ago our Bishop found this on his doorstep.
He delivered it to us at church the following Sunday. I keep asking myself, "why us, why now?"
I can't help but think it is from someone who reads my blog so I just wanted to say thanks, to whom ever it is from.

Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,"
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
-Isaiah 54:10

Isaiah was reminding Israel that there was an unfailing love that would uphold them. A covenant of peace was eternally theirs. These words stood true as Jesus was born in a Jewish nation that should never have survived. The mountains were shaken, the hills removed, but God's covenant stood true.

It may take us a year but we are reading it together and then we feel we will know what we are supposed to do with it.

Four months?*!#@

Well the girls had their four month visit today. They had 3 shots each (and hated it) and they have grown so much!
Reagan weighs 11lbs. 1oz. and is 22 and 3/4 inches tall. She is in the 7th % on height and finally made it onto the chart. she is also 5% on weight. Such a little lady.
Reagan is in a little of a mood today but she got a clean bill of health. Normally she likes to squeal all day long. She sticks her tongue out when she smiles and loves to kick the bar on her play gym to make the flower sing to her. She noticed her foot moving the other night and kept looking at it like "who is doing that?" It was so cute to see he experience that. Britton observed her hit a milestone this past week. She changed a toy from one hand to the other. Major League here people! We love our Reagy baby and are so happy she is part of our family.
Riley weighs 13lbs. 3oz. and is 23 1/4 inches tall. She is 16th % on height and 40th % on weight. She's our big girl, jelly rolls and all.
Riley is just as moody but with reason. She has an ear infection in her right ear and I knew it. She loves to "talk" all day long and examine her hands very closely, she is constantly trying to figure how to get the whole thing into her mouth. She is almost ready to roll over but will need a lot of help getting all 39.8 cm of head off the ground. We are actually supposed to work on her tummy time a little more because her neck muscles are not as strong as they should be at 4 months. I chalk it up to having two babies and two older kids but that is no excuse. I'll just have to do better. She is still our Smiley Riley and I can't imagine not having her in our family..

Happy Birthday Ethan!!!

Birthday kisses from Reagan...
She always sticks her tongue out when we make her smile.
This was as close to their "Birthday Suits" I would let them get.
Just to wish BIG Bro a happy birthday...

I know I'm late posting this but such is life! We had a camp out on the trampoline to start it off.
It was cold but we had fun.
I

Mommy took cupcakes to Ethan at school. (This was a first for us since Britton's birthday is in August and we never get to bring a treat).
Ethan's buddies!

Notice a familiar face?
Thats Calvin... He likes being in the picture. LOL!

Ethan's new ride. He was so excited to get a new bike and helmet.

We had a small dinner at Sonic and then off to The Melting Pot for dessert.
Last month Eric took me for my birthday and when we told the boys about it they wanted to go. We knew they couldn't sit through a whole meal so we just did dessert.

The boys had a lot of fun.
On Friday night Ethan got to invite two friends to go see Charlotte's Web at the Magik Theater. I didn't get any good pictures this time because we opted to take the girls vs. getting a sitter. We went to Baskin Robins after for presents and birthday cake!

Yummy!!!
Ethan had a great birthday.

Feeling Lucky?

Ahh, St. Patrick's Day!!! A friend of ours was telling us about this little leprechaun that breaks into their house every year on St. Patrick's Day and the boys thought it would be fun to invite him to our house. I guess he heard it through the grape vine and sure enough, he came to our house and made a BIG mess...
He got into the pantry and mixed 4 kinds of cereal...
Turned the gallon of milk green...
Left us a box of Lucky Charms Cereal, and took the candy jar out of the cupboard and dumped it into the boys shoes...
He got into the art supplies and bundled the green markers and pencils together (don't ask me why). But before he bundled them he had a little fun...
He colored on all of our faces...

He had extra fun with mine and he didn't exclude the girls...
Next year we're going to set a trap and catch him. But, we are going to need a lot of luck.
