Little Piggies!

Rain, rain go away, was not what they said that day!

I did something I thought I would never do. (I love this picture).

This was August 12th. When it suddenly started pouring down rain...

The boys just couldn't resist. I thought what the hey?

You can imagine my struggle the next time it rained? August 16th.

They let loose again. They painted my truck with mud and Britton got a little carried away.

He didn't mind getting hosed down either!

I just couldn't do it!

Well it has been about a month now since I quit the Kiddie Koop. I quickly realized how much I missed my boys. I have been so lucky to be able to be home with them. Even if I have had to work at least it has only been part time. I have so many memories of being a mom. I could fill up this whole page, (but I won't)! I just want to say how thankful I am for all that I have. Like my mom who helped so much when Eric was in school and I worked nights. She was there every day till I was able to quit and get my day care going. Or Eric's parents who filled our refrigerator and pantry many times when we needed it. Or even when my mom and Saundra lived with us and they watched our kids so we could go shopping or even go out for a nice evening. If it wasn't for Larry and Lynda I would probable be working full time and missing the boys so much, we couldn't take our time deciding where we wanted to live and when we want to move. We are lucky to have the support we do. Thank you every one.

He had a great Birthday!

Britton had a fun and exciting birthday. He was sad that he couldn't spend it with the rest of the family because we all live so far apart though.

We met some friends at the movies to see Fly me to the Moon. It was so cute.
Jordan, Britton, Lourdes, and Ethan.

Kendal, and his brother Kyle.

Po "Kungfu Panda".

After the movie we went to Baskin Robin's for ice cream and to open presents.

It was yummy. Like dining at the zoo I tell ya!

He got more games than toys and I'm happy for that. We are really getting into game night and every Friday we all stay up late to play games. I have wanted to play Guess Who with Britton forever so you can guess what I got him for his birthday. And he loves it.

Britton got a few lego sets from mom and dad, Oma and Opa, and Ethan. Daddy has been waiting a long time for him to be old enough to build them. He had so much fun putting them together.

We just got home from the mall. Britton got $10. from Grama and Ethan got 5 so we had to go to the toy store. We headed right for the legos. Ultimately Britton chose some hot wheels in stead but its cool. Ethan changed his mind too. He was going to get a race car thing like the one Britton got in the mail but they decided to share it so they could buy something different and have more to share. My idea!

Happy Birthday Britton!

Six years ago on August 17th, 2002 I was about to have one of my all time life long dreams come true. At 10:39 a.m. we welcomed our first baby into this world. I couldn't believe it, I was a "MOM". It didn't feel real for a long time. One morning I leaned over to kiss Eric and I gave him 3 or 4 little bitty kisses on the cheek like I always did to the baby. It was then that I knew I was a mom. Being a mom was all I ever thought it would be and more. I love my boys so much and wanted to do something special to tell Britton Happy Birthday and to celebrate our little family. It all began with him.

Britton 7 days old.

Britton's 1'st Birthday!

He loved getting his pictures taken.

He hasn't changed a bit. All he has done is get bigger.

He still loves it.

Every one Britton meets just adores him, he even passed it on to his brother. I'm always getting told how sweet they are and polite too.

He had a lot of fun doing these pictures. It was just him and mom.

I keep telling him to stop growing but he tells me he doesn't know how. I tell him all he has to do is stop eating, sleeping, and exercising!

He just giggles at me! Happy Birthday Bud. We love you so much. We are so happy you are part of our Family.
