Class Field Trip.

We finally got to go to on our first field trip this year! Our last field trip was cancelled because of the weather. On Thursday we went to the Cibolo Nature Center.

We had a blast bird watching and learning about different kinds of animals.

Like mamoth tusks and the Ice Age...

and how to tell the difference between a herbivore and a carnivore and an omnivore.

Then the kids got to use nets to catch all kinds of bugs in the marsh.

The instructor really got into it. He was showing the kids how to be a dragonfly...

Interesting fact... The dragonfly lives in the water till it is full grown.

Britton caught one and we got to examine it up close.

It wasn't my cup of tea but it was still fun.
